OVERVIEW
|
Slimline Radiant
Heating Panels are a recent addition to the Comfortline heating
family. They are suitable for both Commercial and Domestic
applications. These thin panels are perfect for surface,
recessed or suspended mounting. They are available in two sizes:
[600mm x 600mm] and [1200mm x 600mm]. In a situation where a
number of panels are installed, each one can be operated
individually. This allows for specific comfort zones to be
defined. The radiant heating panels can be thermostatically controlled to maintain
the perfect temperature.
CONSTRUCTION:
Slimline Radiant Heating Panels owe their superior level of heat emission to
the surface treatment on both the inner and outer heating
surfaces. The treatment on the inner side is called "Thermoquartz"
- this material assures the highest absorption of heat from
the heating foil. On the outer side is a layer of "Thermocrystal"
which ensures the highest efficiency of heat emission.
Care must be taken
when handling/installing the panels. The unique surface treatment
should not be touched with dirty/greasy hands - it is recommended
that gloves be worn during installation to maintain their
appearance and ensure efficient operation. |

APPLICATIONS:
Typical application areas for the Slimline ceiling mounted heating panels
are offices, schools, houses, cafés, hostels, shopping centres, hotels
and motels
.
David
Lyons understood the benefits of radiant heating when considering a
heating solution for "Time Warp House" in Hobart's
Salamanca Square.
"We installed a number of Radiant Heating Panels throughout the
complex, which also included the reception area. The location of the
heaters is excellent, in that they target direct heat to each
individual display, but we also found that the general comfort
levels of the buildings have increased overall. Our type of business
necessitates that the front doors remain open, and we know we would
not be able to achieve this same result with any other type of
heating." |
